the demizio family (gruene, tx)

Do you know how much fun I had taking pictures of this family??!! Too much! It was a quite stressful day, as my suburban had just died on me at the previous appointment. So, a little flustered, I met this family in Gruene, and for one hour, my car worries were gone! And I must say that I was cracking up just going through these pictures! The two kiddos were so hysterical and just adorable! What great little personalities!!! Also, this cute mom is a fellow MOPS Mommy, in the group down the road from mine. Well, I hope you'll enjoy these...

Just the kids...

This is Callie (looking like a true princess in my new chair!) She is 4 1/2 years old...

This is Trevor, and he is 3 years old...

The kiddos grandparents were along for the ride, so they jumped in several pictures. Here's Grammy & Grandaddy...

And just one more sweet one to leave you with...thanks again!!!...

simply adorable fall/winter (gruene, tx)

Brandy at Simply Adorable has come up with some new precious clothing for girls! We got together with her two little darlings and her friend/partner Megan's daughter (Megan makes the bows, tutus, hats, and various other items.) We toughed out the super-windy day and had so much fun watching the girls show off their new creations! You can visit Brandy's site by clicking HERE. She is also at Gruene Market Days each month AND I'll be doing the booth with her at the upcoming Weihnacksmarkt in November!!!

Enjoy these three cuties...

This is Rain...

This is Emma...

And this is Maya (one of Brogan's arranged-marriage girlfriends!!!)...

Thank you girlies (and Moms) for spending a quick morning with me!!! Can't wait to see these on your site soon!

logan s. (new braunfels, tx)

Wow, I can't believe that little Logan is 6 months old now! How time flies for these little babies!!! We met at the park and got some fun pics of her! Enjoy...

I brought along my newest and favorite accessory!!! The perfect princess chair...

Still has those tiny toes...

And now two tiny teeth...

With her Mommy and Daddy...

And just a couple of her with some quotes, because so many of her pictures often "tell a story"...

"Toodles, my friends. We'll meet again tomorrow for tea!"...

"Daddy, I told you that I'd have you wrapped around my little finger, didn't I??"...

Thanks again guys! And thank you SO MUCH for helping me out with my dying suburban! I appreciate all of your assistance!!!

my work on display (personal)

I'm super-excited to tell y'all that some of my work will now be on display at my church...First United Methodist Church NB!!! The Associate Pastor Laura and I have been chatting about this idea for some time now. Recently our church did some construction/remodeling and we added a meeting area, close to the sanctuary. It's very nice and clean, and it's being well-used by members and visitors of the church. The one thing that I noticed was that the walls were almost completely empty! So, I approached the pastors and staff about donating some large framed pictures to help decorate the walls. Well, they came back and said that they'd like to display them down the main hallway leading to the sanctuary instead! I was so excited and honored! These are black & white pictures taken at church or at various church events. I just dropped off the 10 16"x20" frames on Friday, so I'm eager to see how they look hanging up in the hall!!! I'll be there bright and early in the morning to check them out! :)

Oh! And I don't have a picture of the hallway to include because I haven't even seen it for myself! But here's a couple of the pictures that will be used in that hallway...

a fun lesson (personal)

I had a super-fun opportunity just the other day! A friend of mine asked me if I could do a mini photography lesson for some kindergartners. Their class does several Fine Arts lessons, and this was the first. I was thrilled and honored!! So, I went into their adorable classroom and had such a great time. We talked about using the flash, framing your subject, and background clutter! It was a hoot hearing all of their stories about their own cameras! We took some pictures inside of each other, and then we went outside into the school's courtyard to capture some things outdoors. The group was great, and I'm so thankful they let me share in their day. Thanks kiddos!!! Hope you have a great year in Kindergarten!!!
