the big trip

Tomorrow is a big day for my twins! Since they were 3 years old, they've been asking their Grammie to take them on an airplane. Grammie was ready to go, but I suggested we wait a couple of years! They'll turn 5 this week, so for their big present from Grammie & Poppa Bob, we're taking them on an airplane! We'll fly to Dallas, spend the night with their cousins, and fly back the next morning! The boys are super-duper excited!!! Dayton keeps telling me, "Mommy, I'm so 'exciting'!" So cute! So, say a little prayer for us all over the weekend for safe travels...and sanity for my mom and me as we travel with 2 five year olds!

The sky is the limit!!

the hurta family (new braunfels)

This family is one of my favorite families in all the world! We met them at church, soon after to moving to New Braunfels. Our Daddy and their Daddy both played college baseball, so they recognized each other from that. Our kids go to the same preschool together, go to Sunday School together, love many of the same things, and they just couldn't be more fun! Enjoy their family pictures...

Mom's mother and brother were in town, so they got to be in some of the big group shots, too!...

Just the three precious kiddos...

Now, the real reason why this family was all dressed up...it was the day of the New Braunfels Fahter/Daughter Dance! So, Dad and Makenzie went together and Maddi and her uncle went together! And Mom didn't want Cole to feel left out, so she and her mother took him out on a special date to eat shrimp...his favorite food!...

This is Cole, and he is 6 years old and in kindergarten. Cole will be playing t-ball this spring!...

Makenzie is 5 years old, and she loves gymnastics!...

And this is Maddi! She is 3 years old and also likes gymanstics!...

Just Mom and Dad...

Thank you so much Hurtas for meeting me at the park! I'm so glad I got to see y'all all dressed up for such a special day! And I have to leave y'all with one of my favorites of little Maddi. She's their "tomboy" so this was too cute of herjust sitting on a bench...

See y'all soon!!!

meet mike ybarra (new braunfels)

I met Mike Ybarra last week, here in New Braunfels. He contacted me because he needed a new picture of himself for the Herald-Zeitung newspaper. On Sunday, he announced his candidacy for District 3 City Council, on the front page of the newspaper!! Click HERE to read the story. So, that was a first for me, too! One of my pictures got to be on the front page...even though it was about 1 inch x 1 inch! :)

I wish you the best, Mr. Ybarra!!!

introducing ty (new braunfels)

Meet precious baby Ty!!! This teensy-tiny was only 1 week old at his shoot!!! Mom's goal was to get some pictures of him with his grandparents who were all in visiting from out of state. After those pictures, he was spent and ready to be swaddled and cuddled back up! So, we're doing his very own photo shoot next week! So, for now enjoy their new family pictures!...

introducing leah (new braunfels)

Another baby for the blog!!! I had the pleasure of photographing this teensy-tiny baby girl at just 2 weeks old!!! She was absolutely precious, and I could've stayed all day with her and her wonderful family. Enjoy little Leah's many pictures...

Leah was so good and she slept most of the time. But, we did catch one of her letting out a big scream...

Some of her ultra-tiny parts...

Just me and my daddy...

And with Mommy...

Family of four...

And we couldn't forget about the best, new big sister in New Braunfels! Kinsley is a big 2 year old and is enjoying her job as big sister! She and I had fun playing in her room and around the house while baby Leah took a few breaks...

And I just loved this one. She was being so sweet just reading her books, and then had to look over and smile at Leah getting her pictures taken. That sisterly bond is already there!...

Snug as bug, little Leah. She was back to sleep after all the shots we took of her...

Thank you so much for letting me spend the morning with y'all and for welcoming me into your beautiful home! I hope to see y'all around town very soon!
