another twenty-five (personal)

A few months ago, I did a post about Twenty-five Things You Might Not Know About Me (Click HERE.) I kind of got the idea from US Weekly, and I'd seen it on another photographer's site. Anyhow, about a month after that, I saw a post on someone else's BLOG that said something along the lines of, "Doing the first list of 25 things about yourself is too easy. Now, try to do another list of 25 things, and you have to think more." I keep thinking about it, and finally sat down to take the "dare". Here's what I came up with...

1. My new favorite shows are Modern Family and Parenthood...and now I think The Big Bang Theory is genius!
2. I pluck my eyebrows while waiting in the car-rider line at my twins' elementary...good time management, right?!
3. I'm not sure I'll ever be on Facebook...obviously changed my mind!!!
4. I don't know that I'll ever get over the fact that my three little boys aren't newborns anymore.
   
   
   
   

   
5. I am a born-again Christian, and I have been ever since sitting at the funeral of a relative's 16-month old son.
6. I made it to the second round of the Katy ISD Hoop Shoot contest in the second grade.
7. For three years, I worked for Ralph Lauren...pronounced just like a little girl's name...NOT "la-ren"!!!
8. My all-time favorite movie is the Shawshank Redemption. We even went to Zihuatanejo, for our honeymoon, just like the end of the movie!
9. I squealed like an idiot when a friend and I realized we were sharing an elevator with Natalie Portman in NYC.
10. In High School, I was absent an entire day to attend the UIL Typing Competition...I told everyone at school that I was home sick.
11. I once rollerbladed to a party...and decided to leave the rollerblades  on while in the party...oh college!!
12. I once held a record for being the fastest 10 year old girl backstroke swimmer...in West Houston/Katy area.
13. I'm allergic to water...aquagenic pruritus. It really does exist...google it.
14. I put "Look Ma' - New Hands" paraffin lotion by Bath & Body Works on my hands every night before I get into bed.
15. I think the boxed wine from Costco is quite delicious...now I prefer Target's Malbec boxed wine!
16. I don't want to go off in the boat with my husband to fish because there isn't a bathroom out in the ocean!
17. I secretly wish I was in the cast of SNL...idol Kristen Wiig, as Peneloope the One-Upper.
18. I can squish a small spider with my fingers, but will contemplate moving homes entirely if I see a roach.
19. I rarely wear a lot of jewelry...usually just my wedding rings and my baby rings...and on occasion, a sports watch.
    
20. My husband and I's first date plans were written on the back of a bar receipt, and I now have it framed in our home.
21. I think my brain works best between 10:00 p.m. ~ midnight.
22. I have a small obsession with collecting street signs...not stealing them, just collecting!
23. We moved to the town I now currently live in because we thought it was "cute" (amongst other reasons,) and often find myself driving around or walking through Schlitterbahn thinking, "Yeah! I'm local!!!!" ;)
24. When I was in elementary, I was in a bowling league with my whole family, and we wore shirts that said "Gratzer 5".
    
    
    
    

    
25. I might be the only thirty-something in all of New Braunfels that doesn't desire to run a marathon...drinking Diet Coke and clapping on the sidelines is perfectly satisfying to me!

...and if I could do the next 26 - 50, I'm sure they'd all be about how much I love, love, love to sleep!!!!
