happy halloween!! (personal)

Last night, we finally got around to carving our pumpkins. Each boy got to pick out his very own pumpkin at our church's (First United Methodist's) big pumpkin patch. It was cute to watch them search for their idea of the "perfect pumpkin." Each pumpkin looked so different and had flaws that only I saw. I loved that the boys didn't even notice those flaws (not round enough, too short, bumpy parts, etc.), and they were just so proud of selecting their own pumpkin!

So, the three hours at home waiting for Daddy to get home from work, seemed like forever! The boys passed time with playing chase in the front yard...

And I figured that since they were all down on the ground, they might as well stop for a second and pose for a little picture!...

Then Daddy got home, and to carving we went!!!!...

Brogan was a little afraid of the ooey-gooey insides, so he chose to just inspect and watch us...

With their cool creations...

Tonight, we had the Solbergs over to trick-or-treat with us. Our boys loved having friends to go with! Here they are in their costumes...

Dayton and Grady both wanted to be Storm Troopers. Brogan was Buzz "White-year"!...

And back at home going through their candy! It almost makes my tummy hurt just by looking at all that!...

This was Brogan's first big year of real trick-or-treating! He was hilarious! After every house, he'd run to tell us that "...i got a trick-or-treat in my pumpkin patch"...instead of "i got candy in my pumpkin." It was so cute!...

We hope that y'all enjoyed your night, as much as we did! What a fun holiday!!!

the jendrzey family (new braunfels, tx)

This is one of my girlfriend's families, which is always fun for a shoot!! Mom and I are the co-coordinators of the New Braunfels MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers.) We've gotten to be great friends over the past two years in our positions, and I've loved getting to know her cute family, too! We did the shoot are the gorgeous new home! Enjoy...

The lovebirds...

These two kiddos are definitely in love with Mommy & Daddy...

Brynn is 3 years old, and she is hilarious! When I got to their home, she said, "Ms. Amber, I really don't like looking at the camera." I told her that was okay. Then she said, "Ms. Amber, but I really don't like smiling at the camera!" She's so funny...

And little Ryder is 4 months old. He's just as sweet and laid-back as they come!...

Mom wanted this cute picture, so she could make sure and have one with all of his rolls!...

And I just had to get one of Tina, who was wondering why we weren't giving her much attention!...

Always the tell-tale sign that it's time to go! (I'm sure her Mom will love me for posting this, but it's just too funny!)...

Thanks guys for having me photograph your family!! It was too fun!

introducing garrett (new braunfels, tx)

I got to meet this family back in the early Spring. Mom was expecting her second boy, and now I was thrilled to get back together with them to capture the most adorable little 4 month old!!

Here they are back in the Spring...

Now, here's precious Garrett...

Teensy parts...

Jjust with his super-sweet Mommy...

And my cue that it was time to go! He was either finished being in front of the camera or he didn't want that sailor suit on anymore! How cute!...

Thank you so much for having me over to your gorgeous home!! Can't wait to see y'all again!
