little sluggers (personal)

Dayton and Grady have started their second year of baseball. This year, they play 6 year old Coach's pitch. It's still a very laid back game, but they do have the chance of striking out. (which is HORRIBLE if you're the mommy of one who strikes out!!!) Daddy is the coach, and the year is going great so far!

Here are my little Yankees...

Grady is having a good year. He gets so excited when he knows it's a game day. He's made lots of friends on the team, and he LOVES playing against his friends from school!...

Dayton is also having a wonderful year! He's an awesome hitter, and he got his first real home run!!! It was at their last game, and Dayton was the last batter up. He hit it all the way to the outfield, and the little guys on the other team, just couldn't get the ball where it was supposed to be! So cute! He also really enjoys playing catcher...

And our third little Yankee, is just adorable! (yes, i'm very biased!) The second Brogan hears me tell the boys to start getting their uniforms on, he runs to his room to get all of his baseball clothes, too! It's hilarious! He has the whole outfit, with a much cuter Yankee jersey than the boys get! He's better at understanding this year that he can't go into the game. He does ask Daddy "When it gonna be my turn?" all the time!!! But now, he usually tells us that "he not big nuff." After each game, he gets to run the bases one time, and that's the highligt of his day every time!...

Resting in the sandpit...

Go Yankees! What a fun season this is going to be!!!

I love the picture "resting in the sand". My little one doesn't like that he can't be out there yet either!
