3 muttin busters...well, almost 3 {personal}

A few weeks ago, we entered all 3 boys in Comal County's Muttin Bustin' contest. If you've never heard of Muttin Bustin', well, it's basically kids riding on a sheep. Crazy, right? Just google it, and you'll have yourself a ton of you-tubes that are hilarious! Anyhow, we showed our boys the you-tubes and they were excited to try it out!

We got all cowboyed-up, and were ready to head to the fairgrounds!...

Arriving at the Fairgrounds...

They assigned us our numbers, and I thought it was all too weird that we ended up with 5, 10, 15!...

We spotted a clown in the parking lot getting ready!...

Aunt Heather & Hailey were here to cheer the boys on! (Grammie, Poppa Bob, & Mimi were also there, but no pics...sorry!)...

All the kids had to go with their age groups and wait. Brogan was in the 3-4 year olds and Dayton & Grady were with the 5-6 year olds...

They all got to walk across the arena and wave at their parents before it started...(Brogan is at the bottom of the picture.) Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of Brogan dancing and doing karate in the middle of the arena...yes, he was the only child dancing and doing karate!...

By this time, one of the Directors of Muttin Bustin' had brought Dayton to us...crying...because he was scared. He was already crying because of something that happened in the stands, but his fears set-in. Argh! One down.

Grady is in the next picture waving at the bottom-left in the red shirt. He was so proud!!!...

Just had to include this picture to show you the 100+ kids that were registered to do this event!...

So, these are the gates where the sheep come busting out!...

Brogan got all suited up in his protective vest and helmet. The man carried him over the gates to put him on the sheep, and he said, "I not going to ride that sheep." He came to sit with us. So, two down! Argh!!!!...

Well, Grady did it!!!!!! Woo-hoo Grady!!!! He got the vest & the helmet and went for it! My mom took this pic, and you just can't really even tell what it is (I was filming). But if you can see that little sheep right out of the gate...well, Grady was already on the ground behind it. I think he lasted about 1.5 seconds! But we were SOOOO EXCITED!!!...

Grady has his number and his big ribbon hanging up beside his bed!!! So proud!

Now, I promised myself that I wouldn't make this entire post about how absolutely UNORGANIZED and HORRIBLE this entire event was and how we (nor any of our friends) will ever be doing it again!!!! I could go on for hours about the terrible things that happened! So, if you'd like to know more about it, ask me when you see me or shoot me an email!
